DAY 01
Arusha → Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. Known for its magnificent baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a beautiful introduction to the landscapes and wildlife of Tanzania’s Northern Circuit.
Explore the park’s open savannah, river valleys and woodland with your guide, searching for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, kudu and gazelles. Lions are also regularly encountered, while the quieter corners of the park may reveal some of its more elusive wildlife. After an exciting day of game viewing, leave the park and continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 02
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a full game drive inside the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Descend from the crater rim into one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wildlife sanctuaries, surrounded by steep volcanic walls and spectacular scenery.
Explore the crater floor with your guide, travelling through grasslands, woodland and wetland habitats that support an exceptional concentration of wildlife. Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, hippos and hyenas, with Ngorongoro also offering an excellent opportunity to encounter the endangered black rhino. After your game drive, ascend from the crater and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 03
Lake Manyara National Park → Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for the final game drive of your safari. Set beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment, this compact park offers a striking mixture of groundwater forest, open landscapes and lakeshore habitats.
Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and large troops of baboons that inhabit the forest. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, while its varied habitats attract an impressive diversity of birdlife. After completing your game drive, leave the park and return to Arusha, where your three-day safari comes to an end.
